The Coral Throne

A Proposed Sculpture for Pampano Beach Florida and Shipwreck Parks "Lady Luck"

The Original Design Concept

The Lady Luck Shipwreck Park

Welcome to...
Pompano Beach!

Pompano Beach is a vibrant, welcoming coastal community with one of Florida’s most beautiful shorelines. Just offshore, Shipwreck Park’s Lady Luck has become a premier dive site — rich with art, ecology, and imagination.

🎨 The Coral Throne: A Sculpture with Two Lives. Turtle-safe and coral-ready, The Coral Throne is designed to live twice — first as public art on the beach in Pompano Beach for 1 year, then as a living reef beneath the sea.

📅 Timeline: 🪧 Land Installation: 2026
🌊 Submersion: At Shipwreck Park, on the deck of The Lady Luck: 2027

✨ Why It Matters: Built from marine-grade steel and other sustainably sourced, reef-friendly materials, this sculpture evolves over time — inviting connection, reflection, and exploration.

🙏 Gratitude: Thank you to the Pompano Beach Public Art Committee, the City of Pompano Beach, and Shipwreck Park for considering this vision.

📌 Follow Along: This site will be updated with progress as The Coral Throne moves from design to fabrication to final installation.

See you on the beach in Pompano Beach, and underwater soon!
