The Coral Throne

Public Art by Michael Herold

About the Artist

Michael Herold is an American sculptor with over 250 works created for public spaces, private collections, and corporate environments.

His sculptures blend abstract geometry, precision craftsmanship, humor, and ecological imagination — often designed to transform spaces and inspire lasting connection.

The Coral Throne reflects Michael’s commitment to site-specific sculpture that engages both people and place.

In Pompano Beach, it will begin as a vibrant public art installation on the shoreline before becoming a living reef on the deck of the Lady Luck in Shipwreck Park — adding to the city’s legacy as a premier dive destination.

Michael collaborates with top-tier fabricators, engineers, and installation crews capable of delivering landmark projects, ensuring The Coral Throne will be built to the highest standards of artistry, safety, and durability.
